Mushroom Model Magazine
“And now, the end is near ..” As we come towards the end of 10 years of M3, I have made a major decision - publication of the magazine will cease with issue 10/4. The number of subscribers is simply too small for the effort and costs involved, and despite a variety of marketing efforts we have been unable to expand the readership. My sincere thanks to all of you loyal and supportive readers, and even more so to the superb band of contributors who have made the magazine what it is, but the time has come to call a halt. There are many other modelling magazines, and some excellent websites, so the major rationale for M3 has probably disappeared. But, if anyone out there likes the idea of continuing this magazine, in whatever format, we are open to offers! We do hope to continue with some aspects of M3, both in print and at www.mmpbooks.biz, but after 20 years editing I am no longer prepared to produce a regular print magazine. Anyone out there with a burning desire to take over should contact me soon ...
The few of you with subscriptions running into Vol 11 will be reimbursed, in cash or MMP books as you prefer. Look for details in your copy of issue 10/4.
